Grade 12 can be a stressful year for many high school students as they are preparing and planning for university or college. To help with the transition, two former St. Elizabeth graduates (Alana Giambattista and Olga Mudrachenko) were invited to give a presentation to Mr. Ho's Grade 12 Economics class about York University and the Schulich School of Business. While the information about the program and the admission requirements were very helpful, their enthusiasm about their studies was a great motivator for the graduating students. Alana said, "is important for students to work hard to achieve their goals". Olga also left the students with a tip from Confucius - “choose a job you love, and you will never have to work a day in your life”. |
